Focused on the treatment of patients with complex and challenging peripheral vascular disease, this interactive webinar and case review session will focus on optimal treatment algorithms for complex lesions including multi-level disease, in-stent restenosis, calcified chronic total occlusions (CTO) and infrapopliteal arterial occlusive disease

Objectives:

  • Outline treatment strategies for the care of patients with peripheral arterial disease based on clinical trials and evidence based data.
  • Review indications and mechanism of action of laser atherectomy photoablation technology including debulking techniques to maximize luminal gain.
  • Explore the role of IVUS and ultrasound in determining revascularization approach.
  • Review the utilization of interventional therapies in complex lesions such as calcified CTOs, multi-level disease, and infrapopliteal arterial occlusive disease
