Live case observation will focus on important considerations for treating peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia including the utilization of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and a pedal-access approach.

 

Objectives:

  • Explore the role of IVUS and ultrasound in determining revascularization approach
  • Discuss the role of pedal arch vessel patency in planning and performing limb salvage procedures in patients with CLI
  • Outline techniques to optimize outcomes and reduce average procedural times for patients with complex lesions
  • Engage with physician colleagues on best practices in the management of peripheral arterial disease
